David Keith Ernest George Labonte passed away peacefully in Chesley, on Thursday, November 28, 2024, after a lengthy illness, in his 67th year.
Beloved husband of Yvonne and cherished father of Mandy (Ricky). Loving grandfather of Phoenix and Linkin. Dear brother of Daniel (Carol), Paul (Kelle), Diane (Chuck) and Annette. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Esther, sister Suzanne, and nephew Ryan.
David worked in the automotive industry all his life and was a lifelong auto racing fan.
Thank you to all of the Doctors and nurses for their wonderful care and a special thank you to our Nurse Practitioner at South East Grey Community Health Centre for her excellent care and many phone calls.
In following David’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral service will be held.
Memorial donations to the South East Grey Community Health Centre, Markdale, or to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
