Donald Marvin Knechtel of Peabody, formerly of Wellington County, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, November 23, 2020 in his 64th year.

Beloved father of Tanith McCarthy of Peabody. Loving grandfather of Tyrelle Rafferty, Devonte Nicely, Shaelyn McCarthy and Jahshon Thomas. Don will be dearly missed by his siblings Sharon Knechtel, Dennis (Nettie) Knechtel, Doris Klenot (Larry Duncan), Brenda Bushell, Maynard (Brenda) Knechtel and Christine (Paul) Black. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Gladys (Scheerer) Knechtel.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later date when it is safer to gather.

Memorial donations to your local homeless shelter would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
