Eleanor (Knapp) Showell

June 13, 1944 – November 18, 2020

After a courageous 9 month battle with cancer, passing peacefully at home with her family by her side holding her tight.  It is with great sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our amazing, strong, incredible mother Eleanor Showell.  Loving mother to Tracey Paterson (Adam) and Kelley Douglas (Derek). She was the proud and adored nana to Colby, Corbin, Rhonin and Payton.  Greatly loved sister, sister in law, aunt, cousin and wife.  Eleanor was predeceased by her Husband Bruce Showell, Parents Arnold & Lila Knapp, In-laws Austin and Esther Showell, and Brother-in-Laws Bob Showell, Ken Showell and Rick Clark.

Cremation has taken place.  Private interment will be held at the Chesley Cemetery.  Celebration of Life to be held in 2021 Covid permitting.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to St. Marks Lutheran Church, Chesley, Ontario would be appreciated.
