Geraldine Faye Stannard of Chesley, formerly of Walkerton, passed away at Parkview Manor, Chesley on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in her 94th year.

Loving mother of Bob and his wife Edelma of Los Angeles, California, Anne and her husband Alfred Carr of York Mills and Lynn and her husband Kevin Gray of R.R. #3 Walkerton. Cherished grandmother of Denise, Paul, Kathleen (David), Emily, Adam, Dennis and Carolyn and great-grandmother of Bailey and Orion. Predeceased by her husband Arthur “Burke” Stannard and brother Floyd Higgins.

A private funeral service celebrating Geraldine’s life will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley. Interment in Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
