I was saddened to hear about the passing of John. I remember the moment he entered the office in Lucknow for the first time. His strong voice, filled with warmth and laughter as this big man hovered over my desk. After that visit he was known to me as ” Uncle John” This big man had an infectious spirit and welcomed those around him. His stories and wisdom will be missed but always remembered with a smile. Sending heartfelt condolences

Jerry and I are so sorry for your loss. We had some good times with your dad and mom. I remember when your mom was learning how to wax people’s legs, she used your dad as a guniy pig. She waxed his back, told him it wouldn’t hurt and then ribbed the strip off. I don’t think I have to tell you the words that came out of his mouth. Your mom and I just broke out laughing. He will be missed
