Marilyn Marie Strucke “Nana” of Chesley, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday May 30, 2015 in her 75th year.
Beloved mother of Tim (Carrie) of Durham, Jean (Charles) Brow of Chesley, Ken (Sharon) of Mildmay, Mike (Paula) of Hamilton, Brenda (Devin) Salter of Durham, Jeo-ann (Gord) Pearce of Chesley and Bill Chase. Nana will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Miranda (Anthony), Mandy (Luke), Ashley (Michael), Josh, Terrence, Jodi (Chris), Michael, Daniel, Brittany, Cody, Dean, Mikayla and Brayden. Cherished great-grandmother of Amari, Deacon and Lexi. Marilyn will be fondly remembered by her brothers Charlie, Freddie, sisters Linda, Delores, Grace, Sandra and sister-in-law Betty Stade of Chesley. She will live on in the hearts of the Strucke family as well as her many friends. Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Cliff, son Terry, great-grandson Kashton, brother Bev, half-sister Virginia and her parents, Henry and Mabel Stade.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service celebrating Marilyn’s life at 2 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Chesley Hospital Foundation, The Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
