Marlene Matilda Byers of Chesley, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in her 75th year.

Beloved wife and companion of Maurice. Loving sister of Ken Kaufman of Mulock, Janelda (Harold) Lipskie of Simcoe and Elaine (John) Shantz of Ripley. Predeceased by her parents, William and Tillie (Strucke) Kaufman.

Visitation was be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Marlene’s life was held at the Klages Mill, Chesley on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Grey Bruce VON or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
