Michael Peter Konyk of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Friday, January 1, 2010 in his 73rd year.

Loving husband of Carole (McKee). Cherished brother of Nadia and her husband Harvey Neff of Delaware. Michael will be missed by his nephews Michael Neff, Jason Neff and Scott Hayman; niece Tania (Calder) Kolody; niece and goddaughter Tara (Hayman) Clements; and goddaughter Cathy Forrester. Predeceased by his parents Peter Konyk and Mary (Amorgowich/Konyk) Tanchuk, stepfather Harry Tanchuk, nephew Jason Calder and goddaughter Penney (Forrester) Holden.

At Michael’s request, there will be no funeral services and cremation will take place. Spring inurnment in Chesley Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Chesley Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
