To My Aunts & Uncles and to my Cousins Dennis, Scott, Paul, Vaughan & Jody as well as your extended families, who have lost a Sister, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma – Our branch of the family is thinking of you and sending you hugs. We haven’t had a lot of contact since we were kids – understandable with time, distance and busy lives all ’round – but you are definitely in our thoughts during this time and the memories of times we have shared together are still there. May Aunt Nellie rest in peace and you have memories of her that are blessings.

Sincere sympathy to all the family.
Only knew Nellie for a short time of two years but bonded with her from the first day we met.
We had some good laughs together but the hardest we laughed was together in the car when I was driving her back home from her eye doctors appointment.
From that day the mention of the word “Lolly Pop” has been a topic we both still laughed about till the end.
Nellie accepted me into her life and I felt honoured and comfortable around her.
She left behind a growing number of folks that got to know her and loved her so.
They said she was a “ Cracker Jack” saying things straight forward and sometimes without filter but would make others laugh.
Those eyes when she was angry and the shaking of her fist to let you know just that.
A very strong independent woman.. definitely set in her ways.
But honestly from all whom I have met in her family are strong.. independent..hardworking.. honest individuals whom have accomplished much in life and continue to do so.
Nellie was a fighter and as some would say “a cat with nine lives”.
I can honestly say … I will miss her dearly.
Sincere Condolences to all the family.
