Olive Elizabeth Johnson (Molson) of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in her 77th year.
Wife of the late John A. Johnson. Loving mother of Dianne White (Jim Gateman) of Ayton, Karen (Dwayne) Fischer, Theressa (Duane) Stade and Loretta (Bill) Mason, all of Chesley. Cherished grammie of Tanya, James, Jessie, Justin, Brandon, Brady, Marshall, Dwayne Jr., Dalton, Vanessa, Josh, Jodie and Paul and great-grandmother of Taylor, Brooke and Mitchell. Olive will be missed by her siblings, William Molson of Mount Forest, Peter (Laverne) Tiffany of Durham, Pat (Phyllis) Molson of Hanover, Wilfred Molson of Owen Sound, Margaret (Harold) Henkel of Chatsworth, Minnie Leno of Durham and Mabel Subject of Niagara Falls. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Betty Lunn of Hanover. Predeceased by her son Paul, brother Thomas Tiffany, sister Emma Molson, father Thomas Tiffany and her parents, Henry and Emma (Subject) Molson.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with C.W.L. prayers at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass celebrating Olive’s life will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Chesley on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
