Olive Irene Marklevitz of Wiarton, formerly of Chesley, passed away at Gateway Haven, Wiarton on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in her 94th year.
Loving mother of Raymond and his wife Marjorie of Mallory Beach and mother-in-law of Keith Gamble of Chatsworth. Cherished grandmother of Heather (Perry) Cavill and Amanda Marklevitz (Marty Maisonneuve) and great-grandmother of Alexander, Ashleigh, Hunter and Hudson. Olive was predeceased by her husband George, daughter Linda Gamble, brothers William and Wes Morton; sisters Margaret Boyd, Mary McNeil and Helen Taylor; and her parents, William and Margaret (McKenzie) Morton.
Friends called at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Thursday from 7-9 p.m where a funeral service celebrating Olive’s life was held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
