Paul Frederick Henkel unexpectedly at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Friday, November 22, 2013. Paul Henkel of Hanover and formerly of Chesley in his 86th year.
Husband of the late Marie Sadie Henkel (nee Klages). Loving father of Dianne and her husband Don Gullett of Hanover, Linda and her husband Rick Kaufman of Bentinck Township, Carol and her husband Geoff Ankenmann of Rexton, New Brunswick, Paul and his wife Nancy of Breslau, Debbie and her husband Scott Millar of Chesley and Susan and her husband Larry Hutchinson of Richmond Hill. Proud grandfather of Jonathan (Kim), Jared (Renee), Chad (Julie), Coreen (Jason), Marc, Amy (Kevin), Carly, Sarah (Kevin), Jodi (Chad), Cole (Maddy), Kaitlyne, Brent and Megan. Sadly missed by 12 great-grandchildren. Dear friend of Martha Monk of Hanover. Survived by his brothers Henry Jr., Howard, Everett and by his sister Janet. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and by his friends of the community. Predeceased by his parents Henry Sr. and Emma, and his brother Walter.
Visitation will be held at the Klages Mill, Chesley (11 – 1st Ave. N.) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Chesley on Wednesday, November 27th at 11 a.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow at the Klages Mill.
