Joseph Charles “Ron” Bowerbank of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Thursday, March 17, 2016 after a brief illness, in his 78th year.
Ron worked as a truck driver and house renovator. He and spouse Helen Thompson lived in numerous places, settling finally in Chesley in the early 2000’s. Ron really enjoyed steam engines, attending threshing festivals where he frequently volunteered, assisting with prep, clean-up, and parking. He also enjoyed attending jamborees.
Ron leaves behind Helen of Walkerton and step-son Ray (Cindy) Thompson of Chatham.
Cremation has taken place and as per Ron’s wishes, there will be no services.
