So very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Growing up in Elmwood, we all had amazing times playing out on the streets until it got dark with no worries. Brother Stan was my age and Tom a few months younger. Rest in peace Tom! My thoughts and prayers to your wife and family. Once again, wonderful memories!

I only met him once when he was in hospital several years ago but we struck up conversation and he informed me of his relationship to my grandfather Herbert Fairbairn Howie of bentinck township. He seemed like a wonderful man and I’m sure he will be missed greatly.
