Barry Woodyard of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in his 74th year.
Beloved husband of Robin. Loving father of Colin and his wife Elaine and Adrienne and her husband Chris Koenig – Woodyard, all of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Owen. Barry is predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Irene (McCarthy) Woodyard.
Barry was a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal and a member of the Orangeville District High School Wall of Fame in recognition of his extensive fundraising activities through his organization, Chesley’s Grande Ole Oprys.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. John’s United Church, Chesley on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation or the Chesley Medical Clinic would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
