Connie Lustig of Chesley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in her 80th year.
Beloved mother of Stacey (Don) House of Walkerton, Stephen (Emma) of Owen Sound, Jason of Walkerton and Nancy (Jack) McTeer of London. Nana will live on in the thoughts and memories of her grandchildren Zachary, Jade, Rachael, Rebecca and Jeremy. Connie will be sadly missed by her brothers Bill Van Horne of Alberta and Doug Van Horne of Chatsworth, as well as many close friends and fellow volunteers.
She is reunited and dancing once again with her husband Beverly. Connie is also predeceased by her brothers Ross (Dorothy), Lloyd, sisters-in-law Phyllis and Naomi and her parents, Whitney and Viola (Diebel) Van Horne.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Connie’s life at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service honouring Connie’s life will be held at St. John’s United Church, Chesley on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment in Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Chesley Hospital Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
