Evelyn Rose Trotter of Hanover, formerly of Chesley, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in her 76th year.
Loving mother of Brad (Jacqueline) of Olds, Alberta and Teresa (Rod) Herman of Hanover. Special grandmother of Caleb and Avery Trotter; Sydney, Larissa & Shane Herman. She will be fondly remembered by her siblings Barrie (Beth) Ridsdale of Ottawa, Margaret (William) Smith of Newmarket and her brother-in-law Elmer Bannister of Wiarton. Predeceased by her husband Dennis, sister Donna Bannister and her parents Manley and Lottie (Peavoy) Ridsdale.
Visitation was held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. where a funeral service was held on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Honourary pallbearers were Bill Smith, Elmer Bannister, Colin McKeachnie and Frank Janssen. Active pallbearers were Todd Smith, Dan Subject, Paul Urquhart, Danard Bell, Doug Morrison and Jack Lancaster.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
