Irene Marie Gill (nee Hachey) of R.R. #2 Dobbinton, Ontario passed away with her family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in her 67th year.
Beloved wife of Art. Loving mother of Suzanne and her husband Paul Sachs of R.R. #2 Dobbinton and Michael and his wife Bethany of R.R. #2 Desboro. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Ashley, Alysha and Anthony Sachs and Amandah Gill. Dear sister of George (Darlene) Hache, Alvin (Mary) Hache, Helen (Fred) Blakeley, Bernice (Roger) Chamberlain, Emilien (Jeannie) Hachey, Maurice (Gisele) Hachey, Martha (Ulric) Roy, Aurella (Jim) Reed, Danny (Marian) Hachey, Elise (Bill) Sachs, Yvonne (Gerry) Lavigne, Bernie (Liz) Hachey. Irene will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Audrey Hachey as well as the Gill family and all of her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Cyrille and her parents, Clarence and Emiline (Tremblay) Hachey.
Visitation was held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Irene’s life was held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Chesley District High School, in the gymnasium at 1 p.m. Interment in Desboro Cemetery.
