It is with deep profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Jacklyn Charlene (Jackie) Stark, formerly of Chesley, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Jackie was the beloved mother of Mya and Steven, cherished daughter of Verlaine and Doug, sister to Crystal (Chris) Grubb, aunt to Tayler, Keagan, Layne and Tanner and much-loved niece and cousin to many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She will be dearly missed by her close, long time girlfriends Carol and Lynda, cousins Cory and Jackson and her fur babies:  Muffin, Nova, Duck and Reese.

Jackie was born Jacklyn Charlene Stark on August 11, 1980, in the Hanover Hospital to Doug and Verlaine. Right from the beginning she came in a hurry and was happy to be here and that’s how she continued to live her life. Jackie will be remembered for her “bigger than life” personality and having a heart of gold that was a constant in her everyday life.  When Jackie entered the room, we all knew she was there. Her laugh was loud and contagious. Jackie made every event fun and had a life-long love for all living creatures, she could not say no to any stray cats, dogs, birds, you name it. Jackie was the happiest when she was spending time with family and friends, people she loved. And she was always, always willing to lend a hand, help with whatever she could. Jackie loved her time as a PSW where she was a natural working with seniors and those in need. Jackie was very proud to have been a Chesley Kinette for many years and she had many fond memories and stories about working at the Chesley Grocery Store.

A private celebration of life to follow. Memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
