Janet Yvonne Kirk of Chesley, passed away at Parkview Manor, Chesley on Monday, February 22, 2010 in her 87th year.
Beloved mother of Elizabeth Megale of British Columbia, Frederick and his wife Grace of Mississauga, Wendy Marchand of Quebec, Richard and his wife Diane of New Brunswick and mother-in-law of Nancy Kirk of Chesley. Loving grandmother of twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Janet will be sadly missed by her sister Milly Rennie of Cambridge and brother, Charles (Jean) Orviss of Cobourg. Predeceased by her husband Forrest, son Alex and her daughter, Marylou Cook.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Geneva Presbyterian Church, Chesley on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Parkview Manor Resident Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
