John Hawkins McCulloch of Chesley, passed away on Friday, April 9th, 2010.

Much loved Dad of his two daughters, Irene McCulloch of Chesley and Lorna Fenton of Waterloo. Grandfather of Jenny Mae Kreutzkamp, Amanda Morris and Allyn Fenton (Mike Bilitz). Great Grandpa of Jake, Abigail and Elyse Bilitz. Survived by his sister, Anne Joslin of Mississauga, his brother William Watson McCulloch of Mississauga, and his sisters-in-law Arnetta McCulloch and Mary Heroux, both of Port Elgin. Also survived by his former wife, Jean McCulloch. Predeceased by his parents Edith Irene and Hugh Douglas McCulloch, his sisters, Mary Sophia Bannerman and Ethel McCulloch, brothers Hugh McCulloch and Donald McCulloch, brothers-in-law Jack Joslin and Jack Bannerman.

Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley (65 Fourth St. S.W.) on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A celebration of John’s life will be held at St. John’s United Church, Chesley on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Elderslie Township.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in John’s memory to London Health Sciences Foundation, Head & Neck Oncology Department Dr. Yoo – Research (747 Baseline Rd. E., London, ON. N6C 2R6 – 519-685-8409).

We wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Jose Prudencio of Waterloo, who was exemplary in both his professional expertise and his kindness and compassion toward our father and our family.
