Kenneth Charles Ritchie of R.R. #4 Chesley, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Hanover & District Hospital on Friday, January 14, 2011 in his 50th year.
Beloved husband of Fran. Loving father of Justin Sachs – Ritchie, Jessica Ritchie, both at home and Tabitha Ritchie (Brad Brown) of R.R. #4 Chesley. Cherished brother of Doug (Joanne) Alton of Calgary and Betty Pennington of Wingham. Son-in-law of Frank Sachs of Hanover and brother-in-law of Diane (Dan) McCoy of R.R. #4 Chesley and Joyce (Brian) Randell of Walkerton. Ken will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, friends and all the people he has met on the road. Predeceased by his sister Marjorie Levick, brother-in-law Roy Pennington, mother-in-law Ima Sachs and his parents, John and Agnes Alton-Ritchie.
Ken will be remembered for his incredibly strong work ethic and his devotion to his family.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at the Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley, on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Spring inurnment in Greenhill Cemetery, Ashfield Township.
