Taken from us suddenly on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Loving partner of Sandra Kirkey. Loving father of Paige Thompson, step-father of Kandy, Joshua and Jesse. Cherished grandfather of Harmony, Liam, Aiden, Alana, Skylar and Shaya. Much loved son of Darylann Thompson and step-father Dan Gies, and his late father Ernie Thompson. Dear brother of Karen Kroes (Henry), step-sister Joanne Kendrick (Rob) and step-brother George Gies (Jen). Survived by Sandra’s brothers and sisters. Will be sadly missed by his niece Kaitlyn Kroes, his nephew Kyle Kroes, his god-mother Gail Parker (Bob) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends Eddie Como and Rob Walker.
Predeceased by grandparents Trevor and Evelyn Thompson and Wilmer Karn, his god-father Ken Hamel, uncles Howard Sulkye and Ken Karn and his cousin Rick Sulkye.
A casual celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 1 – 4 p.m.
A visitation was held at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
