Laura Mae Gateman of Hanover, formerly of R.R. #1 Chesley, passed away at McVean Lodge, Hanover on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in her 80th year.

Beloved wife of the late Elmer D. Gateman. Loving mother of Earl of Goderich and Carl of R.R. #1 Chesley. Cherished grandmother of Aveleigh and Brian. Laura will be sadly missed by her siblings, Bill Miller and Ethel Constable. Cherished aunt of Judy (Lloyd) MacPhee. She was predeceased by her brother Bob Miller, sisters Charlotte Bouchie and Geraldine Wallace and her parents, Freeman and Alice (Singer) Miller.

At Laura’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Laura’s life will be held in August.

Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
