Mary Lou MacPherson (nee Glencross) passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in her 76th year.
Born March 12, 1947, in Durham to the late Bill and Freda Glencross. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband Arvid of Hanover, daughters Kelly (John) Martin of Hanover, Karen (Darryl) Stephenson of Angus, and brother John (Laurel) Glencross of Durham. Special and loved Grandma to Megan, Cohen, Kate, and Kevin.
Mary Lou’s career as a teacher enabled her to share her many talents and gifts with others. Her aptitude for gardening, love of the piano, and talent for sewing are but a few gifts we will fondly remember.
Cremation has taken place and a private gathering of Mary Lou’s family and friends will be held to honour her life. Inurnment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Make-A-Wish Canada, The War Amps, or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
