Melvin M Martin of R.R.#3 Chesley, passed away peacefully at his home on March 21, 2024, in his 78th year.
Leaves to mourn his beloved wife Lena (Horst) Martin, Ruth Martin at home, Andrew and Elvina Martin of Matheson, Paul and Erma Martin of Dobbinton, Joel and Leona Martin of Massey, Rachel and Daniel Sauder of Massey, Samuel and Sara Martin of Chesley, and Timothy and Louella Martin of Massey, 43 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 8 brothers, 1 sister, 2 brothers-in-law, and 9 sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his parents David and Annie Martin, a daughter in infancy, 4 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Melvin’s home, 305 Bruce Rd 11, Chesley, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 1 – 3 & 4 – 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 1 – 5 p.m. A viewing, burial, and service will be held at Hillside Mennonite Church, 564 Bruce Rd 11, Chesley, on Monday, March 25, 2024, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
