Robert “Bob” Bruce Wight of Hanover, formerly of Scone, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2011 in his 79th year.

Beloved husband of Eileen. Loving father of Larry (Jacquie) Sweiger of R.R. #1 Elmwood, Cheryl Wight (Lloyd Delta) of Fergus, Brenda (Rick) Spielmacher of Carlsruhe, Donna Wight (Gary Horst) of Chesley and Tanya (Jim) Shepherd of Hanover. Cherished grandfather of Tara, Andrea, Devon, Jenna, Matthew, Jacob and Aiden. Bob will be sadly missed by his sisters, Joan Weiser of Mount Forest and Lenore (Bill) Jones of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Annie (Hastie) Wight.

Visitation was held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
