Ruth Adeline Bittorf of Hanover, formerly of Chesley, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Thursday, March 4, 2010 in her 97th year.
Loving mother of Eldon of Chesley, Shirley and her husband Carmen Doerr of Chesley and Dorothy Lorenz of Hanover. Ruth will be missed by her grandchildren Pam, Blaine, Reg, Nancy, Bill, Patsy, Steve and Larry; 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Ernest; brothers Charlie, John and Mel Schultz; sister Edna Woods and her parents, Julius and Caroline (Bleich) Schultz.
Visitation will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Chesley on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
