Sylvia Barbara Craik of Hanover, formerly of Chesley, passed away at the Village Seniors’ Community, Hanover on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in her 90th year.

Loving mother of Margaret and her husband Wayne Yeoman of R.R. #1 Chesley. Cherished grandmother of Krystal and her husband Michael Sarkady of Hanover. Sylvia will also be missed by her nieces and nephews in the St. Thomas area. Predeceased by her husbands, Norman Day and Edward Craik, brother Sydney Copland and her parents, William and Edith (Tyler) Copland.

A celebration of Sylvia’s life will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 1 p.m.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
