Wilbert James Tolchard of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in his 100th year.
Loving father of Rev. Anne Mills of Chesley. Dear grandfather of Keith (Lisa) Mills of London and Duane (Jessica) Mills of Windsor as well as proud great-grandfather to Justin, Stephanie, Josh, Simon, Kye and Finley. Special grandpa to Ken. Wilbert will be remembered by his son-in-law Thomas Mills of London and his brother-in-law Harvey McClelland of Orangeville. Predeceased by his wives, the former Vera McClelland (1948) and Grace Addison (2006), sisters Bessie Dickson, Florence Barker, Evelyn Sambell, Audrey Dickson and his parents, James and Marie (Dales) Tolchard.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m.
A funeral service celebrating Wilbert’s life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Chesley on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
