William “Bill” John Robson of Chesley, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in his 79th year.
Loving husband of Doreen (Lobsinger). Cherished father of Bill (Darleen) of Mildmay, Robert (Sally) of Kitchener, Paul (Heather) of Lindsay, Terry of Williams Lake and BethAnn (Dennis) MacDonald of Chesley. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Darcy (Joanne), Vanessa, Melissa (Junior), Stacey (Steve), Rob (Liz), Christopher, Amelia, Clayton, Erika, Justin, Jen, Jon, Cory (Larissa) and Ryan (Danielle) and great-granddaughter, Izabela. Bill will be fondly remembered by his brother Charles (Ruth) of Markdale and sisters, Mary O’Connor of Markdale, Jean (Mike) O’Neill of Markdale, Madeline (Doug) Woods of Owen Sound and Kay Robertson of Meaford. Brother-in-law of Sheryl Robson of Durham, Leonard (Aldine) Mulhall of Francis Lake, Martha (Howard) Weppler of Owen Sound, Helene (Francis) Ruetz of Sauble Beach and Eileen (Robert) Henley of Perth. Predeceased by his grandchildren, Pamela Robson and Nicholas MacDonald; brother Larry; sister Veronica Mulhall; brothers-in-law Laverne Robertson, Leon O’Connor and his parents, John and Josephine (McTeer) Robson.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Bill’s life will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Chesley on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. Inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mildmay.
Memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation or Elgin Abbey Resident Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
